i saw a really good one where they chopped a bottle of kristov beforehand. don't remember the content, just that they were funny, and appeared to be enjoying themselves as well.
we did this once, it ain't a concert, its more of a game show, but its good.
what ya do is pick out some people, about 6, take them outside while you set up...
get some tables, and put them end to end, leaving a gap somwhere. cover the top and sides of the tables with sleeping bags so you cannot see under the table. on the table, put various items (roll-on, roll of loo paper, tooth brush etc.), covered with some sort of container (buckets work well).
in the gap between the tables, sit a person there so only their head is above the tables. cover their head like the other items.
the idea of the game is that the contestant runs along, lifting the cover and naming the item. quickest one through wins a pack of chips or something.
some people scream when they see the person. its really good.
sweet as if u can, dance. Do a medley with bout 4 or 5 ppl and 4-5 songs. Or a lip synch they're always funny. Try and incorporate some wannabe breakdancing in there too, adds an extra touch of humour. But if u can't dance lip synchs are easy as, just do a medley tho so ppl don't get bored and take turns at being different stars.
omg- we used those for our final 7th form assembly to the skool- the final thing- a dance off btween the guys from wanes world and vanilla ice, mc hammer and then one of the 7ths doing ballet... hehehe...that was so good...
it was great! obviously our assembly was more than just a skit -it was like an hour long production- but it was so cool... we had the theme of "back to the future" with the main characers carrying the plot of the SMT (principal ect) having been kidnapped by wane and garth from wanes world... so the back to the future team went back in time-3rd,4th,5th,6th forms etc- each group represented by a group of seventh formers doing a dance and making fun of a particular aspect of that yr- e.g 3rd form- big bag etc etc etc... was so good... the seventh form thing was the dance off... what made it more funny was the chick that did the ballet- shes known thoughout the school for her ability for hiphop sorta dance styles... so to see her come out in a tutu... made it even more funny...
Dude, you should use this opportunity to recreate that magical bus scene from "almost famous" you know the one "...blue jean baby, L.A. lady, seamstress for the band..."
