Student radio is back in Hamilton

Contact 106 FM is on track to begin broadcasting on Monday 17th November! Final touches will be put on the station's programming over the weekend, to makes sure the station sounds reasonable from its first broadcast. The station will be broadcasting from an office which used to be part of the old Contact 89FM studio, which has been kindly loaned by Big TV.

There will be a Contact 106 FM Launch Party on Friday 21st Nov in the back bar of Diggers - thanks to Tim at King St Advertising for the posters and flyers. Spread the word about the gig, this the Contact's first fundraiser, and a chance to celebrate a successful launch!

Dead Pan Rangers, Pennydrop, Holdfast, and Vetox are playing. Five dollars on the door from 9pm.

Forums: NZ Music,

awesome, is it to rival the generator, or is it just another station, as the generator seems less student related these days?
