Although I do enjoy some actual intelligent and well thought out hiphop I think that rock has more emotion therefore is more enjoyable (for me at least). Most hiphop artists today seem to be more about fucking the eastside niggaz up with gatz then smoking a blunt than having anything creative and inspiring to deliver. Bear in mind I said "most" hiphop artists. Also I believe rock takes more talent to recreate on stage, a collaboration of 3-5 musicians feeding off each other as opposed to hiphopping along to a prerecorded beat (no disrespect to djs), and it involves more blood, sweat, tears and emotion to write MOST of the rock and roll songs out there today... (there are some exceptions) But yea rock appeals to me more than hiphop without a doubt.

Both definitely. I personally prefer rap because I can relate to it. Head banging aint for a meister like me. Rock requires more energy, more emotion, more of thyself. Rap is classic, modern, poetic and caters for the different species. I love it both. All music is music to me. Dont make me choose but I will in respect of debate rap for me, as long as its soft rap you could say or rap about something meaningful which then creates emotion. Emotion comes in all types of music so you cant define it from one to the other. I am a female lyricist on the rise of course rap would be my game but if you a true musician you wouldnt choose one over the other, its just called preference!
