Well pre the pre-debut gig we weren't as nervous as we thought we'd be and post the pre-debut gig I guess there was a mixture of relief and excitement. Nothing was thrown, people danced and fuck ups were minimal. We got some stuff to work on for Saturday our debut gig post our pre-debut gig and pre our EP release gig.
No practise in the weekend has left me feeling barren, bereft and bummed. Like someone stole my watties tomato sauce and replaced it with sweet chilli.
I don't know but you HAVE to play as soon as possible! People were chanting "PILOT PILOT PILOT..." out the windows of apartments today as I was on my way to work. I heard the radio RAVE about the ep, there throats almost screaming because they can't get a copy yet.
I'm probably going to have to play the gig from a bar stool, after a nasty touch rugby accident. That game can get vicious I tell you. My ankle looks like an alien is trying to pry it's way out the side of it. Won't stop me going to Crumb tonight! Anti inflamms and tequila hhmmm curious cocktail.

oh...no i haven't, my tv is in a wooden box and is so old that you can't even plug a video player into it - however it is a bloody greta lil telly and it does the trick nicely.
Fuckin' frustrating!! I'm having all these problems with my neck which are effecting the nerves running down to my hand (I suspect a consequence of some over-zealous headbanging in my teenage years, although my physio came up with a less entertaining explaination). That big log of wood I call my Les Paul is killing my neck, squashing my nerves, and causing my hand to go numb while I play. I had to apply the stool remedy half way through the show on Saturday. This doesn't involve smashing my guitar over a stool, or smashing a stool into the drum kit, or even throwing a stool at a would-be dancer, but simply sitting on one. Seems the problems not so bad when I sit down.
So I'm on a stool, Fishy's on a stool 'cuase he can't stand, Ray's on a stool anyway...all we have to do is kneecap Jed next week and we'll all be on stools.

Ah, very nice... I was just kidding above, mate ;o) My mate plays a Tele Custom, the one with the humbucker in the neck position, it's brilliant. My father in law has an american standard which sounds really cool- how are you handling all the differences in output/tone etc?
