i plan on headn down there pronto after Overdrive on the 1 which you should all be listening too :)

thinking about it ... d'you know anything about the Cassanovas? are they from Aussie? i heard a rumour that a couple of my Dunedin/Auckland friends were also supporting them, but i think i'll wait till i hear that rumour confirmed. one of them is Motty, who's this incredible guitarist, the other is Brent, a loose drummer dude ... might see you there ...

Cassanovas are from Aussie. kinda watered down version of the Datsuns. pedestrian garage rock. but i havent seen them live, they might be OK live. havent heard about any other support acts but the posters do say Datsuns + Friends so there might be more.
i thouroughly recomment going. i went to their gig at Re:Fuel last year at I was totall blown away with their performance and they had literally just got off the plane from 6 different flights from London. cant wait to see what theyre like fully fit and rearing to go!!

i wish i had gone to the D4 gig (OT). any reports? i heard good things - i went to the Datsuns last year, and i failed in not getting into them much, so i'm thinking i might leave it another 6 months until i see them again.
