buddy, i dont think you seem to understand my point. with only listening to stuff that gets played on tv or radio, you're completely shutting yourself off to the possibilty of finding some new zealand music you like. there are heaps of great nz metal bands out there! have you tried 8 foot sativa or ramekin? listen to the axe attack on the rock (sunday nights) and thats a start...consciously make an effort to go out and support local acts.

I dont like 8-foot sativa (although have tonns of respect for them), I mean, have you guys ever heard great international metal bands like Stratovarius, Extol, Killswitch Engage, Underoath... If you actually listen to it, this is the kind of music that has class..... no comparison to your ramikans and zeds
