Milo's cinema-outing! We went to it a couple of weeks back. Excellent stuff. And couldn't have done better on the plot: lots of loving father-son moments to make me all emotional.

Johnny depp was fantastic on pirates. Is confession quirky like "adaptation" and "being John malcovich"? Finding Nemo is babies! just kidding.

wasn't that deliberate? when he asked his b-grade writer brother to help finish the film, the whole movie shifted into implausible-land. not that that makes it any better: the finish *was* lame.

Yeah - I think the whole self-reference theme was a clever idea, it worked for the rest of the story, but not for the ending.

I agree with the people who agree with me that adaptation is a good movie, i think the whole idea of "a movie about the movie" is brilliant. It also have a good message of "don't worry about what other ppl thinks, it makes u feel better" *big thumbs up*

1: Charlie Bucket does a science experiment in school with glisterine and what-other substance, aint these kids making Acid or something?
2: Charlies teacher - Shifting the test day from friday to monday (or whatever it was) and he goes on to say "since today is tueday it dont really worry" still i suppose hes baked on herb
3: Charlie Buckets House looks like a run-down hippie commune.
4: Augustus Gloop could not stop eating - maybe that explains his 4 joint per day habit.
5: Oompa Loompas - only Owsley Acid would create such an effect
6: Entering the Choclate Factory: they state fippery - what the fuck is fippery???
7: Grampa Joe - he says he hasnt walked for 20 years - how the fuck could he have gone to the Potty or had a shower, brushed his teeth, had a shave, it dont make sense.
8: Maybe Mr. Joepeck was Charlies Dealer??????? or was it Slugworth?????? or that geezer that looked like Slugworth who came on at the end of the movie???????
9: The "Chocolate River" it looked like Bong Water to Me. and fancy Augustus trying to drink Bong Water, it wouldnt get him high, rather spit it out

11: The River-Boat Scene reminds me of an acid trip i took in late 2000
12: Fizzy Lifting Drinks - Alcohol??? nah id say they are softdrinks laced with LSD

14: The Gobstopper Department - was really a 'P' lab - or maybe and LSD manufacturing lab.

16: The end of the show wher ethey are takling off in that Wonka-Vator is like after youve taken Amps or more likely acid, They speed up and crash through that glass roof. and to end it even the end theme song sound slike those Oompa Loompa Actors themselves dropped a few trips before performing.
