Wanting to form a band that is interested in playing rock music that doesnt involve a lot of 4/4 playing. Something like a poprock/odd-time signature hybrid. Would like to do a 3 piece of bass/vocals, guitar/vocals, drums/percussion. Anybody interested ??? Oh, and I'm a drummer by the way :)

I'm very keen on jamming or something. I'm living in Ellerslie at the moment. I have many influences, but I was planning something similar to Rush's "Counterparts" album in musicality. I haven't written too much stuff on drums as I need other people to bounce ideas off, and my lyric writing sucks! (it sounds too cheesy), but I think I can structure a song pretty well. I was wondering how close to Kent OH you are, cause I need a drummer to form a band as well. My influences include, Flaming lip, Melvins, Pixies, Glaxo Babies, Beat Happening, Fantomas, The Wipers, Jesus and Mary Chains, and others. I play guitar and sing. I can also play keyboard, Bass, some drums, and I have recording equipment not to mention the space. I just moved to Kent from Michigan. Let me know how cloase you are to me. Thanks
