Hi,
I'm helping out on Obscure.co.nz, trying to line up a fairly definitive list of dance-related electronic music released by New Zealanders. In particular I'm keen to make sure older releases are captured somewhere on the internet.
To keep the scope manageable I'm focusing on CDs (not CDRs) and vinyl. I know there've been all kinds of weird and wonderful self-released tapes over the years, but it's just too much to keep track of.
There are two specific things I'd like some help with:
1. Tinnitus (Michael Hodgson & Angus McNaughton, from memory?) released a CD compilation of their earlier tapes. Anyone have it? Looking for title, label, year of release.
2. A label from down south released a comp called 'Off The Beat'n Track'. Maybe two, even? Details of label and year(s) of release would be great.
thanks in advance!

Awesome, ta. Unitone Hifi's where it all started actually. Saw none of their releases were on Obscure, and put them up. Then I went all obsessive on it and made a spreadsheet. :)
So they're in, but haven't got the other stuff. Was Jedeye also something like ICU?
Left off International Observer thinking Tom Bailey's not a Kiwi, but hell, it's all part of the Kiwi history and he lives here, so whatever... it's not like I'm checking everyone's visas. ;)

Thanks mercury_up, but I'm a bit confused. By dnd do you just mean Dunedin or is it a label?
Think I've got every Nurture release in there, and their South Exit sublabel. Great sounds, I reckon.
If anyone ever wants to add stuff themselves, there is a form to do so on Obscure.

Yeah, fully. The scope could be massive... Obscure's by-line is "Dance music in New Zealand", so I'm trying to focus on those releases that are at least influenced by "dance music" or released by Kiwis on labels that I consider part of New Zealand's dance scene.
But it's always going to be a matter of opinion what should and shouldn't go in.

Hey, thanks very much for everyone who chipped in ideas and comments. I've uploaded all I care to right now, but will be trying to keep things as up to date as I can as we go.
One thing I would love is to get some more Dunedin stuff up there, cos I'm sure there've been releases from there which I've totally missed. I do remember Laughing Gas and an album called 'N2O', but don't have any details and can't find anything online. If I were in the right country I might have some more options to chase up. :)
