I'm a keen enthusiast, fan and follower of the NZ Metal scene, and I can safely say that there are some truely world class bands that I have been priviledged enough to witness in full assault around NZ. Many of which are based in my hometown of Christchurch. Unfortunately this website seems to be seriously lacking a sizable body of metal and hardcore acts. If you know of, or play in any great bands yourself, that aren't on here please feel free to name drop and leave links. Some of my personal favourites are:
