They are pretty good live too, i went to their concert when they came to nz and they kicked ass...but now a days it seems as though their music is deteriorating...hopefully they can pull themselves out of this rut...

I like Linkin Park and I'd pay to see them play. I'm not buying Meteora because I've heard three singles off it, and it's exactly the same stuff as Hybrid Theory. They should have tried something a little different. That said though, I have both Hybrid Theory and Reanimation, and I like them both.
For some reason I really really loved Linkin Park until I heard QOTSA, which, for some reason, put me off Linkin Park quite a bit. But I still like Linkin Park. So there.

I have hybrid theory. it is possibly the worst $25 anyone has ever invested (it was a present) I have tried to keep an open mind when I listen to them, but all it is to me is just cliche music ladled upon cliche music. and chesters screechy voice irritates the hell out of me. Also, it seems that all of their music is so...suicidal. Music I like is music that leaves me with a kind of 'aftertaste' a feeling of some sort, or takes you on a journey but I don't get that with LP. It's like, empty, engineered music. And it irritates the hell out of me that they're so sucessful when I feel that other musicians are so much more deserving!! Anyway, thats my opinion. if you like them then, cool. i dont.

The way they combined the dj to the music is pertty weak too aye, most of the verse consist of a weak lil doddle from the turntables. I think the best incorporation of dj and band is "incubus" heard the coolest guitar turn table jam at the Creed/incubus concert.

I hate their videos. They are all robots and dont even look cool. I think its to cover up the lameness of the songs they try and make really futuristic videos. Ones ok..but c'mon - to make them all like that sucks. All of linkin parks lyrics are like "i cant take life any more, you torture me, you hate me, WHY!?!?!?!" I think they do it so all the troubled teens can relate to them and be like "wow man, you feel my pain. you know where im comming from!". What a load of bull. I guess its ok if it stops a kid from commiting suicide though..
