Look Kitten I don't hate Metallica I don't even know the mother fuckers (wouldn't speak to them if I did) so how am I going to hate them. I once tried defending them to Shihad after reading Shihad's interview in RIU where they dissed Metallica, Lars and James (you should dig up that interview it is worth a read).It pissed me off because I felt that they were just slamming Metallica just so they could distance themselves from (the whole westie/bogan image) everything they'd done before the release of "Churn".
Which I still feel is why they did it, anyone that saw Shihad in the early days knows that John wanted to be James so bad it hurt. Anyway I tried to defend Metallica and the bassist and John flicked me shit for the rest of the gig. When their set was over I stormed backstage my intention was to administer a bit of a kicking but I got tossed by security before I could get to anyone in the band hehehe doh!
Anyway my point is that I too think Metallica are great its just for me they haven't done anything since ...and justice.

Bloody Shihad should just fuck up and be themselves, fucken hipocritical popstars to big for their assholes! What makes them world leaders in musical taste? They diss every fucken band they don't play in or who are more successful than them. Dumbasses.
Sure, I don't like metallica but I sure as hell don't disrespect them! But there is something about age old, alcoholic junkies crying out to teenage audiences that turns me off.

I had a whole new respect for my sixth-form French teacher after he told me he saw Led Zep play at Western Springs. It's so easy to get a Remaster copy, or a Best-of compilation, that you have to almost admire it when someone was there at the time, like you wish you could have been.
