Just wondering what songs the bands in this country are covering.

What songs does your band cover? What do you use them for?

If not in a band: What songs have you seen being covered? Was it fucken awesome when they played them?

In the bands I am involved in, we cover a few songs:
Breed, Rock The Casbah, Rather Be Dead, Violet, My Mind's Sedate, Shitlist, Moonshiner, Come On Die Young...

Each band has a different selection. In Uncle Dad, we use Moonshiner as a gentle introduction to the band as we settle into our locations. In Idle Faction, we use Breed as a nearly end of the set song for the mosh pit to yell along to... and Violet is strictly a practice room thing so far. The K1500 Project use My Mind's Sedate as a song that everyone knows... because people like that.

And if you don't use covers - why the hell not? They are fun! (shitlist is such a great song, has only 4 chords in it, and can be played with a huge amount - it makes a great country song.)
