I had a chat with Phil on Monday and it sounds like the live album isn't too far off. It's being mixed by Malcom Welsford which means it will sound fat (or should that be phat?). He's at work now adding the final touches.
At the same time, the art work is being sorted out and they are also puting together a live video of "Home Again" to promote the album. The footage for this was taken at the Auckland and Wellington shows on the recent tour and will cut between scenes from both of them.
The guys are in Wellington at the moment jamming and starting to throw around some ideas for the next album. They are going to be heading back to Melbourne shortly.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to this considering the only live Shihad recordings I have are those Channel V ones from 2000 Big Day Out. This album will cover the full spectrum of their career, should be good.
