I had a dream that was a porn/horror/gothic/country/musical/Hercules type of movie all round into one!!
Very strange

Weird dreams must be the thing lately. Last night I dreamed that my Dad was smoking opium as we walked through the bush with that old general guy from MASH. He passed out, and we all laughed. Then all of a sudden I was sitting on the couch, my Dad at the computer and he turned around and said "I'm sooooo wasted". And I think Nesian Mystik were there ....

i had a dream i was in a nintendo 64 game (the legend of zelda ocarina of time)
i was running down death mountain with what as first was a giant boulder but turned into a big toe...
i woke up just as the toe caught me...

lately i have had some bloody strange dreams. the problem is, when i wake up, all i can remember is that they were bloody wierd...

i'm in a desert... rolling a giant donut... suddenly a snake wearing a vest comes up...

Recurring dream - lights outside my room - power flickers on and off - strange figures come into my room - take me to a large saucer like craft somehow outside my house - bright lights and machines inside - I'm on a table and they stand around me - I can only see their sillouhettes - they're using probes and sticking needles into me - obviously conducting some kinds of tests - pain - pain - bright lights - terror - lapse into unconscious. . . . . .....................

. . . . wake up the next morning feeling . . . . somehow . . . different . . . . .

Recurring dream -I'm sprinting down my old street being chased by a giant who keeps varying his size at will. I get to the top of my driveway and launch up into the air flying out over the bush, leaving the giant behind. Through the trees below I can see a witch who is running and keeping pace with me, I continue to lose altitude until I am just above her and she starts whacking me with her wand. Every time it hits me I get an electric shock. I hit the ground in a commando roll and turn to face her only to discover that my eyesight has become severely diminished. I have the power to completely destroy her but I can't see her and she keeps sneaking behind me giving my electric shocks. I usually wake myself up at this point.
I've been having this dream on and off for about 17 years.

I had a dream that noizyboy and I were putting various updates on the internet, emailing each other *and* talking to each other on our mobile phones all at the same time. It's not a particularly random dream since we'd been talking about cellphones (or a lack thereof) in the weekend, but this fable highlights our ridiculously communications-saturated environment. It's real-time madness! It's instant-response overload!

..but back on the topic of recurring dreams...well, I have recurring themes...

I'm in a movie - usually some kind of action thriller thing when I'm trying to catch a bad guy, but it's all real. Usually I'm in some precarious situation - trying to find my way around a factory with lots of nasty machines in my way, or crossing a motorway or running through a blizzard... Because I've already seen the movie and I know it has a happy ending I keep trying to reassure myself that it'll turn out ok, but I can't for the life of me remember what happened in the movie. One time I was trying to capture evil David Bowie. Another time I was a pregnant spy, trying to escape from the japanese, who had taken over palmerston north.

Another recurring theme is me looking in the mirror and my reflection is doing stuff that I'm not doing, or it's a different person to me, or it even talks to me - but then I've always had a bit of a phobia for mirrors anyway so it's not particularly random either. OK, cue dumb jokes about why I'd look in the mirror and get a fright...

ive met so many famous people in my dreams,i seem to always dream about fame its very spooky

In one dream i met david bowie, in fact he threw a peice of cake in my face (hahahahaha)

last night i dreamt the apocalypse....there was this purple star in the sky, it change dinto a circle, i went up into the circle then came back then saw a meteorite crash into the sun and blow up the entire universe, then there was this keyboard type object i couldnt make out, it had a key saying APOCALYPSE written on it?? i wasnt scared or nothing by the dream, just curious to know what it meant.

Hmmmm am i disturbed if i wake up to the sound of my own screams?
Maybe if I stopped falling asleep against the bar heater :)

But seriously I had one (a recurring dream). My old cat who was about 24 (before we put her down) used to talk to me in my sleep, but i could never understand her (she mumbled because she was old i think). At the end of the dream i asked her a question and she turns around, looks me in the face, and says... *insert sound of my alarm going off at 6am* Now that stopped becoming wierd and started becoming frustrating about a year ago. I still dont know what she said dammit.

Ranger's recurring dream reminded me of this story I heard about a friend of a friend...(here we go..)

Time and time again, and it started happening more and more regularly (like once a week), this friend of a friend would be having a perfectly normal dream (well, as normal as dreams get) when suddenly a person-sized marmite jar with arms and legs would pop up and say "Urro!" and the surprise would wake her up. Now *that's* annoying.
