I'm not a hip hop fan... but I reckon if you keep it simple, Attractive and useful then ppl will come... how do you expect to go about making this site exactly? like a Bulletin board? and if so then what software are u using?

What you could do is take some decent photographs of these NZ Hiphoppers and put them up on your website. Some of the photo galleries at hiphopnz are a complete waste of server space. Nice, beautiful, moody and interesting photos should make your brand new site quite popular. Then of course you can have your beloved lyrics section as well.

Something for you to think about.

www.hiphopnz.com is www.decayed.co.nz but maybe for not much longer. HipHopnz is moving the forums away from the decayed server. Its a great hiphop site but it lacks any decent photos. Half the photos there are of drunkard ho-bags trying their best to look even more like a slut. Sometimes looking through the galleries you can't help that the photographer is either

A: A pervert
or
B: Wasted just like everyone else at the gig.

I'm sure -Tinty- could do better.

That is true. No-one else is taking any photos at all which is why I suggested to -Tinty- that maybe he/she should go down that route of taking photos for his/her website. More photos the better. Its fucking hard to find decent images of NZ hiphop artists which is why I have started taking photos myself for bullshit use that I use them for.

C'mon man. I been through all the pictures and you have to fish through heaps of photos of people raising their beers, and dudes with fucked up hand signals. Some are good for a laugh but its frustrating looking at the same chick over and over again. Its nice, but you could do with a lot more of the artists performing than the drunkness crowd.
Not all the galleries are bad though cause whoever did the De La Soul photos was brilliant. Those photos captured the energy of the perfomance and the rapture of the crowd. Makes you wish that you were there... As for the others, sometimes it comes off as maybe it wasn't so bad that I never went anyway.
