my P bass has a rooted neck, can these be found second hand for cheap? (just the neck), or if new, how much? And do all wanna be fender P basses (as in not a fender) have the same dimensions for the neck?
any help shall be usefull.

Wish i had held onto my first bass, Sold it after 3 weeks ('Fieldy plays a 5-string Ibanez,That's wot i want Mom!') Ideally, It would've ended up on my High School stage....in a million pieces, Instead i sold it 2 a 'guy' with A Mullet AND a Monobrow (From the west coast, Whose wife was "Look'in ta play sum Bass afta she lost der Geeeetar"), I shudder @ the thought of wot that freaks wife/children look'd like....
