Forum Rules

1 If you're new to the site, we recommend that you lurk for a while before posting. Read the recent posts to get a sense of how members behave and the tone of discussion. Start posting when you feel comfortable with the community.

2 When making a new topic, make sure your topic is in the approrpiate forum.. Topics that have nothing to do with the subject of the forum will be moved or deleted.

3 When replying to a topic keep your comments and questions relevant to the focus of the topic.

4 Post about the topic at hand, not about the people posting.

5 Respect the rights of other NZMers to have differing opinions.

6 Forum moderators have the right to edit, censor, delete or otherwise modify any posted message. If your post has been deleted don't post about it, refer back to these guidelines and if you're still unsure why your post was deleted, email us. Abusing the moderators will not help your case.

7 Vicious or malicious posts will be deleted. Posts that criticize or attack another member without any contribution to the forum will be deleted. Anyone consistently attacking another member or members will be banned from the forums. Posts should never harass, embarrass or threaten other users.

8 Obscene, pornographic or violent posts will be deleted.

9 A member should not impersonate another member. The impersonating identities will be deleted.

10 Don't post simply to complain about someone else's spelling and grammar.

11 Avoid posting in all CAPS or MiXeD CaPs. All CAPS is considered shouting online and mixed caps post are hard to read and are likely to be ignored.

12 Advertisements or commercial solicitations will be deleted or moved to the Classified forum.

The Artist Forums:

1 Discuss the band not their fans. Attacks against fans in an artist's forum will be deleted.

2 Critisism of an artist's output is fine as long as it's constructive.

3 Don't persistantly troll an artist's forum and don't make personal attacks on an artist. You'll come off looking like a dick with a grudge.

4 If you have a problem with an artist, stay out of their forum.

i have a couple of mates that want to start a group, they are more into black metal though.
