Hey, i've been trying to find other like-minded musos in welly for something like this for fucking ages, and have had minimal success so far,maybe some people on here are interested. Heres hoping anyway.
So as the title suggests im a guitarist(and possible vocalist if needed as well) looking to start an emocore/metalcore band in the vein of such bands as from autumn to ashes, across five aprils,at the drive in,atreyu,glassjaw,from the dying sky, the acacia strain,yesterdays rising and thursday, to name but a few(or more than a few :) ).
Hopefully a few like minded musos out there in welly have even heard of these bands, and have the same desire for this band as i have.
Preferably people still in school would be appreciated, as possible rockquest entry next year. the rq is sorely lacking in this style of music.
and yeah.
possible structure would be 2 guitarists( i only need one really as i play guitar), a drummer, a bass player and a possible vocalist.

but I'm still interested in forming a band with people of the same age group(still in welly), pref 16-17, with possible rq aspirations for next year, but of a rock genre,in the vein of 1qa,bolbox rex,finch(not hugely rock but still awesome),incubus,the datsuns,d4... etc etc.I have an open mind. Anybody interested in THIS?
(Hopefully there is still possibility for the emocore/metalcore too but if not, anyone for a rock band?..cliche i know.)

It's really good,a lot more melodic than too bad your beautiful, but theres still some amazing heavy songs too like the after dinner payback.
