I really don't think that girl groups should be lumped into a big group, kittenslayer...

But as long as we are - I'd say that Sleater-Kinney are superior. Wickedly complex rhythms and powerful yet pretty vocals and cool lyrics covering a wide range of topics (including at least one about being lumped in as a girl band.)

What a pardoxical topic. First you say Sahara Hotnights and The Donnas are superior to Foamy Ed then you say you've changed and NOW they are in competition with each other? Well if you ask me Sahara Hotnights are better overall, The Donnas aren't really my cup of tea. SH have better songs, The Donnas have like one.

Okay, I dunno about the last one, but in quite a few of The Donnas interviews, they just go on about how much they like 'boys'. I think the SHN are more talented over-all anyways.

THe Donnas make better tunes than sahara hotnights cause they play more of a old school rock n roll sound, including those gnarly blues solos. Sahara are too punky. Though better lyrics. And i see nothing wrong with perverted gurls :P ANd Kittie should fucken lighten up, i don't like listening to chicks sing about how ugly and slutty they are....

I rekun they're both pretty equal, although I prefer SH over The Donnas new stuff because now they're really cheesy. Foamy Ed is easily the coolest New Zealand band, and one of my favorite chick bands.
