love the new song! forgot what its called (sorry) and i heard its about that aussie band something for kate after what happened at the bigdayout

Something For Kate are total, non-beer-sharing, assfags. Honest to Dave Grohl, these guys had about fifteen people come to watch them at BDO. Hahah, Laughable. Like I just laughed then.
In fact, speaking of Beer, Beers, their latest track looks set to be a bloody ripper! Go the Voo!

hahaha yeah that was soo funny,i saw it on c4 ages ago after bdo.
these guys are hilarious!

the new song beers is just bloody brilliant! Very subtle stab at something for kate, well done guys another great song from DEJA VOODOO...

Its time for the BEERS single to come out, so where is it?

i want it!

they fucking rocked at shadows!!!

Anyone know who's playing with these guys tomorrow night at Shadows?

Betchadupa. But Betchadupa without their guitarist, so they're calling themselves something else. Just to confuse people, you know?

Okay cool thanks. Yeah that is confusing, but whatever works for them I guess. Any other bands or just those two?

The beers single, which I like to think of as 'the soundtrack to the shittest night of your life' is pure genius, and an absolute must-have for the true deja voodoo enthusiast. As a bonus, it can also be used as a makeshift blood/alcohol tester, because you know that if you think it sounds any good, you've had about ten too many... Absolute shit, but I love it...

im smoking crack and eating sooooo much

now im gonna smoke a weed and eat an octopus

i like the techno version of Beers. it's so terrrible. makes me run back to the apron strings of rock.

there's dance remix? cool!

yeah, it's one of the most wonderfully terrible songs i've ever heard. the single is triffic - kinda maps the journey you might take if you get terribly drunk (the rock version), lose your higher brain functions and end up jiggering away in some god-awful house music club (the techno version) ... but coming home at dawn to trip up over the acoustic guitar .. how about a rendition of 'Beers' ala Mr Big's 'More than words'. shudder.

Not that I know this, but I believe you're confusing Extreme's More than Words with Mr Big's To Be With You ... both lovely hair metal bands with their respective mainstream (softer) hits.

perhaps even mr big's "wild world" (cat stevens cover)
both horrible bands though

The video clip for Today Tomorrow Timaru is pretty gifted. I especially love how at the end they are "leaving Caroline Bay" and Timaru behind, and have nice footage of Washdyke, Dunsandel, Rolleston: Town of the Future, and Hornby. nice one.

They are nothing but a big joke.

Isn't that the point?

oh beers is so hillarious... and your boyfriend sucks!

who's going to the Brown Sabath thing anyway? man I'm pissed off about that one.

Deja Voodoo have been nominated for "Best Live Act" in the 2004 bNet Awards. You can vote for them at www.bnet.co.nz
