Yeah $80 is a lot of money but aparently they've sold quite a few tickets. I really do wonder how they can get away with charging so much... but I paid for it. I'm hoping it's worth it.
But hey, when they start charging that much for concert tickets and the audience isn't feeling like it was worth it, people stop going to concerts when international artists come over. There must be a reason for it costing so much.

I also was going to spend the night outside real groovy, but needless to say, my mum wasnt too keen on her 17 year old daughter spending the night in the city by herself... did you end up being first in line, and getting the 95bfm prize?

Nah I didn't win the pack for being first in line. I did however get a free coffee from bFM at 7.00am and others who won tickets in their prize pack helped me pay for my ticket. I didn't get to real groovy till about 3am.. some of them had been there since 10.30pm. There were 3 people I knew who won prize packs and they all shared them with the group of us who spent the night.
I would have liked to have won the prize pack it would have saved me spending 80 bucks on concert tickets.I simply do not have the time to wait that long, although when incubus were in town (last years huge concert!) I won 2 tickets and waited at western springs stadium from 10 am till they opened the gates at 5pm i really wanted to get up the front and all that waiting soon paid off! my mate and i were right at the front! then we had to wait another 2 hours for eight ( the first band on)to hit the stage thats nothing compared to other people who have waited longer those who went will know.But ive never waited outside real groovy overnight to buy concert tickets i might try it sometime!
