Are any bands ever really good on Space?
Think of the lighting, sound, camerawork and lack of audience. I don't think many bands would ever seem outstandingly good in the Space format, some things (like music and comedy) just don't translate well onto TV - certain types of music especially. I think TLBT are probably a probably a band you'd have to see live to fully appriciate. Any comments from those who have seen them live?

agreed, you never judge a band by the internet, i mean batrider were shit on good morning but they rocked everyones socks off live in orkland...

it's hard to come across as being a really wicked live band when you are on space - the mix can be unpredictable and if you have ever been into the studio where it is filmed then you would probably understand how difficult it is to play well there...good on people who can tho, extra special talent...as for TLBT, I saw them last week...they were wicked.

I'm not very familiar with TLBT as they are a bit too rocky for my liking but anyways I didn't think there was anything wrong with there performance. And the other time they played they weren't bad either. They don't get the twink out from me either way.

out of the ones i mentioned only elemeno p could be classed as pop (kinda) and they hardly sound american quality. what makes u think id want american power-pop on our shores anyway?? who would u want to see more of

I think if one independant band went on Most Wanted, they'd be sell-outs and would probably end up fading into obscurity (maybe...). But if a big group of bands started getting play on Most Wanted it would definatly make it more exciting to watch. One band can't change Most Wanted. But lots of bands combining can.

i thoguth the brunettes first album was cool. The pathetic "issues" based Boy Racer EP warrants more then just twink.... perhaps BOILING twink?

The point here being I wasn't really hurt at all by Ronalds remark. Bands shouldn't be hurt by remarks on this site, but take them with a grain of salt.

Granted, I didn't give a reason for wanting twink out TLBT. I use to like them. But I'm bored. Gimme something new.
