Bloody excellent gig last night. The band was in fine form and the songs flowed in the syrupy way the room appears to move whilst psylocibin boy incarnate. It was magical and psychedelic, aided nicely by some well placed visuals.
I was disappointed that I missed Rawer (by five minutes) but by all acounts they were ferocious and are heading in a good direction.
missed you tclak, this band should never ever play the first two songs again. i nearly left cause i thought i was going to get the U2 tribute band meets a brim fulla asha, glad i didn't cause they were quite excellent by the middle of their set.
Yup, interesting setup with that other act - they had a desk in front of the sound dest. It took me a while to click onto that one. Totally disagree about the U2 Tribute thing, although it did Sleepers Union a little while to warm into their set - first gig as a band n' all. They were awesome.
