A parody video would be like Faith No More's "Last Cup of Sorrow" video, which is a dark parody of the film "Vertigo". Or the Rhombus "Clav Dub" video which parodies the film "Goodbye, Pork Pie".
appalling shite. One hopes that any offering form the video marketing gods would contain different elements of at least two of these qualities. Otherwise, why bother taking mushrooms!
I can't think of any other vids that do this at the moment, but Cripple Mr Onion's vid for 6 Days of Silence has a part that just slams shot after shot of the various band members. I love that stuff, particularly for live bands, where there's a heap of different cameras and angles cutting one after another.
