It's interesting that there are no McHendrys to be found in the New Zealand white pages or on the electoral roll. I've emailed Real Groove asking if that's the real name of the person who writes that column, but have not received a response.

I have a feeling that it's just a pseudonym for some RG staffer who doesn't want to get in trouble with the same people he has to be nice to as part of daily business life in the small world of NZ music journalism.
