A couple of weeks ago, the Allmighty "ALLSTARS" presented Nesian Mystik in concert. Living in Australia we thought it was 'bout time, and welcomed the event with open arms. Talent quests were held and the supporting acts were found, the show seemed to be coming togeather.
On the night of the concert we arrived at 6pm or so, to get a good seat (an hour before the show was to start). 8:30pm rolls around and finally they open the doors, 9:30pm nocks on the door and the show FINALLY!!!!!! Starts (talk 'bout Maori/Fob time). The supporting acts were the shit, There was a lot of variety. Man there are some awesome as singers out there and plenty of funny (hahaha) wanna be singers and dancers (im probably just hating though). Around 11:30pm they decide to bring on the act that everyone in SYDNEY came to see….Nesian Mystik….and with the BLINK of an eye……. they were finished!!!!!
That night was not what I expected it to be. Maybe it was hyped up too much and so my expectations were HIGH. As for the boys, they do their thang well i can give them that, but call me superficial, I know I ain't the best looking but from where I was standing neither were they (oops). They were "HORY" and it looked like they just jumped out of bed and put whateva was on the floor on. It really didn't even look like they put any effort into their style, hence my dissapointment. Don't get me wrong, no doubt they can sing and I can't emphasise it enough, but honestly I did expect more.
So I put this to you, considering this is the first concert ive been to of theirs and probably the last time they'll be in Australia for aw, is that experience of mine what I should expect in future from Nesian Mystik or was that just a one off thing (hopefully it was)
