Wow, Little Thief, you last live show at Indigo rocked! Plus, as a DJ of new, dark, genre-defying electronic music you have personally opened my eyes to a larger world of musical thrills!
P.S. Your CD is excellent, I strongly recommend anyone reading this to acquire a copy.
Little Thief vs A.M. -Scattered Electronics, Drone Reflections
25/7/03 - Massey Uni Great Hall - Lunchtime
The Massey University Great Hall will be resonating......
Electronic scatterbrain Little Thief teams up with noise/drone-merchant A.M. to fill the Great Hall with sonic reflections. This is a huge echo-generating space, so it will be a complete 'environment of sound' to walk around in.....
This is a lunchtime show, starting 11:30am. Inside the old museum building. Entry is free.
I am writing in regards to your musical project, and hopefully getting some information off you about them so that I am able to add you to my ever growing online NZ music history.
I am compiling a directory listing of all bands and projects of an Experimental, Dark styled, New Wave or Avant Garde nature. I would really like to add your projects to the list. Heres the url for the pages as they stand so far www.clubbizarre.co.nz/scene/akhistory.php
This is the first part of the NZ history. The next step is the rest of NZ, which I have been working on for the past few months, but am still missing a few artists, hence this letter to you.
If you're keen to be documented in this history, we can do this two ways, either you can write up your own bios. ( this way there's no chance of the info and details being incorrect etc...) or you could send me as many details as you can ie: BAND NAME, STYLE, MEMBERS NAMES, HOW IT BEGAN, ANY PREVIOUS BANDS, A BRIEF HISTORY, RELEASES, GIGS AND MEMORIES, URLS etc..... just list them and i'll put together a write up for you, or if you have any old bios and press kits floating around, I could just reproduce that information if its ok with you. If you don't own a scanner I'm more than happy to do all that for you if I could borrow the flyers and pics for a day or so.
The more you send means the more I can give your bands pages. Also send me photos [live or promo] plus any flyer art etc...i'll put it all in. Im working at getting this definitive documentation as accurate, up to date and as extensive as humanly possible so any input from you is much appreciated.
