So I was reading yesterday's newspaper, The Dominion Post, yesterday as you do and noticed an intriguing article. Well ok it wasn't terribly interesting but just pretend it was ok? It makes this a lot more exciting.
So anyway these let's impress the constituents with our patrioticness MPs were kicking up a fuss about some NZ Music Month t-shirts being printed on Australian made t-shirts.
Now if they knew anything they'd know that there is a considerable amount of NZ bands in Australia and it is only fitting that the Aussies contribute to our music month. In fact I think they should help pay for it.
We are expanding their minds and lives after all with our influx of talent to their mermaid shores.

this is a little bit unrelated, but has anyone noticed that the nz music month tshirts have a really ugly cut? its almost as though they've tried to make them guys AND girl's shirts, so they're cut like a guys shirt but with a tiny boob area. it ends up looking stupid on both sexes. also the collar is really weird and ugly.
the plain blue nz music month shirts with the target on 'em are fine, it seems to be just the white ones with the strange cut.

I think they were only sent to the media, industry and looks like politicians got given them too.
You can buy the white ones with 'Lap it Up (NZ MUSIC)' etc... They're about $35 each from music retailers.
They're all rediculously large too.
