just 1 hour 15 minutes until this new "anti boyracer law" comes into effect and personally i agree to disagree on this new law.

fair enuff tat boyracers need to be punished for making the roads more dangerous (and believe me, ive had 1st hand encounters with these 17 year old immature fuckheads) but we have to draw a line when it comes to anybody driving a late model sports car - coppers will have the power to pull any male aged under 30 driving a V8, or late model sportscar or even a crudbucket 1984 nissan pulsar (like mine was - until today) ad demand WHY they are driving eithe such a souped up car or such a sht car - while the blonde bue eyed skanky/trendy dressing female in her daddys car will NEVER get pulled over - its a fucken class war....as i understand it cops MUST and i repeat MUST have reasonable grounds to suspect a "boy-racer" activity is going on ie. 2-3 cars speeding AND trying to catch up with each other simultaniusly, immature dickfucks pouring deisel or oil onto the roads just to to burnouts, or a fucker speeding up while someone trys to overtake them......pulling over a young male in a late model or extremely old car AND based on the way he looks is harrassment - id 'ave deeeez coppers beaten to death wid'a crowbar............

er. dare I ask what's changed? The cops have been doing that for years anyway. When I used to drive a crudbucket I got pulled over *ALL* the time. Now I drive a *nicer* car, I never get pulled over.

What I find amusing is old John Terris going nuts about boyracers in the Hutt being hooligans, when only last weekend his daughter smashed into my brother whilst driving drunk. She then proceeded to assault my brother, then the police officers, and had to be pepper sprayed. I say he might want to take care of his own family before he trys to fix everyone elses problems.

the police are the pits, the Govt should make places for all these boyracers to go during the day so our streets are safe, you cant even drift down the road these days without being pulled over and being given a fine and a driving charge, this law is just going to allow Mr Plod to harrass young people even more and thats basicly who its aimed at ; young people. its a stupid law and should have never been passed in the first place

fuck yes, the police target young people driving cars worth 10grand and under, that basicly
excludes daddys boy or girl driving their BMW or Merc. ive seen people pulled over just because Mr Plod doesnt like the look of him, its harrasment, and is now legal :Stalk about the road being safe these days..

Yeah they are, untill you suddenly need them and they're your best friends... 95% of them are pretty good and work damn hard. Not to mention see some pretty horrid things, like seeing crash victims shovelled off the road after some dumb cunts driven 180km/h into a post.

The purpose of roading was never to be a race track, its to transport people around, if you (you as a general you, not you specific, unless this applies) don't want to abide by the laws for our roads then find a private track to do it. Why should the government pay for boyracers and other hoons to have a place to race around? as it was never the intended use for our roads.

I hate to be a spoil sport, but it is hoons that have miss used the roads that have now caused all these problems for car lovers who work on there cars and use them legally.

because if the Govt is so concerned about these 'boy racers' and 'hoons', instead of putting the police in the position of enemy to young drivers and creating a bad relationship between the law and a growing group of new zealanders they could have built a track, this would benefit both the police and 'boy racers' and 'hoons' because all the 'boy racers' and 'hoons' would have a safe controlled enviroment to test their cars performance in and the police wouldnt have to chase them up everywhere therefore creating time for them to solve real crimes like murders, kidnappings, drug dealings and rape etc.

youre taxes pay the police to put drug dealers away, so since youre taxes are paying for this, does it mean you want them to roam free>? the bottom line is peoples taxes go to the Govt to solve problems in society, this is a problem

drugs screw people up, so can boy racers... we put drug dealers away becasue they screw with peoples lives, we don't give them a park and say, "hey you can sell and do drugs here"... which is what the boyracers want. Taxes pay for raoding to ransport people and goods from a-b-c etc, racing on the roads is abuse of this, its against the law, hence the police cracking down.

So if boyracers want to race their cars build their own tracks with their own funds, or rent a ready built race track. Most people don't like drugs and want their tax money to take them off the street.
