Interesting topic? How many serial killers have been around 1900's till now.. who knows much about them? One of my old bud's was fully interested in them...

i would have thought he'd be more of a psycho cult leader, i'm not sure but i don't think he personally killed anyone, he was into the whole brainwashing thing wasnt he?

yeah, brainwasher extraordinare.. how do people get themselves into that sorta scenario - I can't imagine how someone could convince a group of people that brutally killing people is a good idea? How does that work?

I can understand killing someone in the heat of the moment more easily than this group psychy thing.

im sure he didnt, but he dosed his followers up with LSD and conducted his own version of MK-ULTRA and brainwashed his followers to go out and kill, a follower charles 'tex' watson now a parish minister was on acid at the time and shouted "im the devil, ive come to kill everyone" just as he shot teenager stephen parent and one of the caretakers (i think it was) dead and gruesomelly enuff susan 'sadie' atkins carved the words "pig" into the body of a pregnant sharon tate, leslie van houten was not directly involved with the murders, she was more of the "drive there and pick up" person and drove the killers back to spahn ranch after the first killing spree.

thats as far as i know what happened in the tate/labianca/manson murders.

He kidnapped this girl called Grace 'something' and killed her and then stewed her body with carrots and some other vegetables. Man that's fucking CRAZY!

Grace Bud only a little girl, yeah and wrote a letter to her parents telling them about it, he was an aquaintance of theirs apparently. thats how they caught him, she was the last victim

jeffrey dahmer is an interesting case as far as psychology goes, he claimed he'd wanted to stop but it had become an addiction, he said something like "once you've killed one person, you're tainted, you can never go back" ... that's not an exact quote but it's the gist of it.

let us not forget one of the greatest serial killer sin the world - Saloth Sar AKA Pol Pot, he killed 2 million people cos they where imperialist pigs and opposed the Communist/Maoist ideology of Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge, and once more pol pot never got caught

Richard Ramirez is probably the only one that actually 'looks' like a nutter, most of the others tend to look pretty ordinary. But he definately looks like what you would picture a demonic person to look like. A pentagram on his right palm can't help much... :)
