Bodega is sounding like a cool night on Thursday...
BOOGA'S BACK
Nigel Beazley former vocalist with HLAH, best known as Booga, performs in Posse Galore at Bodega this Thursday April 24.
Other musicians performing with Booga on the night are from legendary Wellington bands, including Mark Lederman (ex Bilge Festival), Dave Geard (ex D-Super) and a former member of Short.
I have often wondered what Booga has been up to. Have heard various rumours, but nothing solid. And now he is back... with ex members of other cool Wellington bands...
We'll just have to see if it is a good thing.
And The Blue Set are playing Bodega that night as well... Pushkin revisited!
No real point for discussion... just an observation...
I myself would like to see what will come out of Posse Galore. Anyone else?

Yeah I saw that. Sounds interesting. I'm just hoping they aren't a retro rock band.
Keen to see Blueset too.
Hmm, see how this cold holds up.
// Keen to see Blueset too.
I was thoroughly impressed by the Blue Set... worth checking out.

I just hope it is good.
yeah heard nothing but praise about Blueset.
This may sound extremely sad but it looks like "24" may be the winner tonight.
Wow... Considering that The Bilge Festival and Short are two of my favorite bands of all time that could be great!!! Dammit and I have other 'appointments' to goto (I assume you'll be coming along to Sophs BDay drinks after practise Eddie?). I take it we don't know which member of Short it is?
Dammit Dammit Dammit!!!
Stefan : Yeah I'm so addicted to 24 (but I have the advantage of getting my flatmates to video it for me :-) - IMHO it's probably the best TV series in the last 5 years (prepares to get flamed).
[goes to listen to Cape Goat and then Are You Going To Eat That?]
Oh yeah and don't forget that The Lamps are playing with them too :-0
Dammit Dammit Dammit!

I could do that but I'd rather watch it, err hmm, "real-time". Definitely rates right up there.
The Lamps? ... oh so close. TV is still going to win ... I think.

"The gig was to take place at Bodega April 24, but the show has been delayed a few weeks"
