I keep seeing Roger Twose wandering about central Welly (today being the latest sighting). I keep wanting to go up to him and go, 'mate! we'd have won the cup if you'd been there!'

and we would've.

It's aah not recently, but I once moshed next to Josh Kronfeld at a Head Like a Hole concert, and had a few bruises to show for it the next morning.

Ive seen Rodney from godshirt in real groovy one time buying some clothes. not to exciting but it was interesting how much attention they were giving him. i didnt see anyone come out and hand me all these clothes... :P

I saw Gibbo from Elemeno P going into Real Groovy ...tho it wasn't really that recent. :P
(I've interviewed Stefan (Sommerset) which was more recent than Gibbo...)
While i've been in Ponsonby i've seen the Brunettes and Tiki (Salmonella Dub/Rhombus..etc), and Danielle Cormack...all on the same day.
and last weekend i was in town at a gig in K Rd and i saw Jonathan & James from the Brunettes there and Tim from Xanadu was trashed and was hitting on my friend's friend. And we did Kareoke with him and other people (who were supposidly famous). It was so much fun!

oh and my friend's brother was in town and saw Paul Reid and yelled out "Hey Marshall U unc!) so Paul just did the fingers and kept walking.

I was in London for a coupla years - just a few examples of my friends' experiences:

"omigod, you'll never guess who I saw at the club on Friday - Janet Jackson! With her bodyguards! And they had to dance with her and everything!"

friend: "wow, guess who I got to hang out with on Friday - Steve Dorff! Wow, he's sooo nice..."
me: "geez, girl - next you'll be telling me that you regularly chat with Damon Albarn"
friend: "yeah, he was there too, but he's a bit of a jerk."

me, post Reading fest: "I saw Fun Loving Criminals - they were really good"
friend: "awww, you should've given me a call - I was backstage!"

In my many months hanging around London central I didn't see a single famous person in the flesh. Not one. I was in Leicester Square for the world premiere of Harry Potter, and Cliff Richard (apparently) walked right past me, and I didn't even notice.

Real Groovy seems to be the place for people on the tv and in music. This dude i know says he saw Taylor Hawkins in Real Groovy looking at some cd's.

The most recent i would've seen, hmm Joey Jordison. I know i know it was at the BDO but hestanding about in the crowd so it sort of counts!

Last night I met Jimmey Thunder and Frank Furter from hot new Swedish band The Somethings.
