I'm not a bitter whinger. I'm one of those stupid foreigners (long time expat kiwi)!! I think you guys are a bit harsh on poor ol DNE. I read about these guys on the Tube in London in TNT.. Have you even noticed that they dont have a record company!! Whereas the other bands you mention do. yes Shihad have loads of songs, they have been together for 12 years, with a record company supporting them all of that time and they are still not on MTV in Europe are they ?? Yes whinging barstards like you lot, is why successful people like us leave. You are a fine example of what the kiwi knocking machine is all about.
Additionally how the fuck can you compare DNE with Shihad etc. It would be fairer to compare them with Deep Obsession, Spiller, Madison Ave.... er yes the same Madison Ave (casio shit as you put it) that cleaned up at the ARIA's in Australia, when you precious Shihad got NO where!!!!!

Well I like Shihad!! I'm sad they missed out at the ARIA's but there is only one bigger kiwi knocking machine than us knocking ourselves and thats Australians who love to knockdown kiwis. You couldnt expect a kiwi band to win and Australian award. As for DNE and dominance on this site.....well one has to admit, the first thing that hits you is actually the big hyper advert for Shihad Hlah etc on the homepage! As for DNE they are not my cup of tea, but you have to admire, that what they are doing with practically no funds or support is pretty good. I actually prefer them to Deep Obsession, who have a major record company backing them with a 6 figure budget. I actually saw DNE on JuiceTV singing live with a acoustic guitar and no backing and they are both bloody talented with great voices. I actually prefered hearing them like that, than with all the electronic backing!.... I agree with Warwick in saying I think you guys are a bit tough on them, considering they are just up to their first release..
