The S stands for Spice, as in the Spice Girls. The Spice Girls manager originally envisioned a TV show starring the Spice Grils called "Miami Spice". But after they fired him he decided to not let the Miami-based TV show idea go to waste and created S Club 7. It is said that in the early episodes of "S Club Miami," it's possible to figure out which Spice Girl the lines were written for.
