Brat 3 Marvin Released This Week

There are definatley some really good bands on there . But I think there are far more talented/ better sounding bands in Christchurch than 1 or 2 that are on it. Slipstream, are good but one of their band members works at RDU. Mmmmm.

The BRAT comp sounds great! Lots of really good bands and artists on it. I was at the media launch last night and it was really great to see so many people along supporting the talent that Chch has to offer. Mea did a beautiful performance with support from 3 shades of equal and then later on Fuce (now based in Aucks) rocked the house with support from Slipstream.

I don't think the band member of Slipstream who works at RDU actually performed on the track that's on BRAT, I think he came along after. He's not in the photo or the credits.

My favourite song is Restless by Fuce, I also really like Filer's Nobody's Protected.

If you don't have the CD you should definitely get it, it's only $24.95.

The last brat has been born and what a fine comp it is! especially dig S.V.S.H.M, fuce and orkids efforts.

I also caught the action at the dux last night, damn enjoyable evening...got all teary eyed watching the fuce lads belt it out.

I must put an end to all this "slipstream bassplayer slag"

I, CHARLIE J UNDERWOOD, am the original bass player for slipstream. Yes, the new bass player DOES work for RDU, however he cam along AFTER the band were accepted on to the BRAT compilation. He also was not in the recording that features on the compilation, so for any of you that seem to think that it may be a little SUS......... you are wrong in assuming that.

Rob, the bass player who works for RDU , is an amazing bass player, and will take the band to new heights, the fact that he works for RDU is irrelevant. I wish i was at the gig on thursday, it sounds like it went off.

I am stuck here in Sydney tearing up the OZ scene with a band some of you may remember.............. DEGREES K.

love to the slipstream boys, and the Orkid lads, wish i was there to see it all unfold before my eyes,....

Rob is one of the coolest guys i know.

Slipstream have worked hard to be where they are, and have earned everything the hard way.
They have great music and a solid stage preformance.
I would think it more sus if they wernt on the latest Bratt CD
Good on you guys

So the guy that played on the single is now in a different band, and the single that has been played for the last few years or so has finally got on a compilation, and the band finally won a competition by being the oldest guys there and playing to a bunch of first years who don't know any better...hmmm. I agree with the first posting but add that they are quite a mediocre musical experience.

Are you serious? They didn't win the band comp by being the oldest guys there - that was probably us - they won because they were better than the other crap. Ourselves excluded, of course, we lost because Lindon Puffin was within 500 yards.

yeah dos...what the fuck are you on???
