Credit where Credit is due...

Who is the hardest working NZ band at present...? Let us know your facts.
I for one must say that Mother Guru, 1QA and Autozamm would my choice of recognition.

All 3 bands have had airplay on The Rock and Channel Z to coincide with their tour. Ive heard them all. They're also putting on some damn tight shows. "Class"

if my adding is right Mother Guru will have done over 25 gigs since 1st of Feb when they finish their tour back here in Nelson on the 12th of April, covering the length and width of the country.
If thats not hard work I don't know what is.

admittedly they have the help of major labels, and hence roadies and helpers probably falling out of their ears at the moment (or maybe not), but it's hard to look past the D4 and the Datsuns.

Datsuns: at least 60 or gigs this year already.
The D4: should be up to 50 by the end of their current US tour.

Likewise 8 Foot Sativa are in the midst of a 15 show world tour, having played a few gigs here in NZ before leaving, and are straight back into local shows when they return.

We'll Voltron, i'd have to agree with you there about Mother Guru, they are definately the hardest working band i've ever known and even harder working people than alot of people i know, in or out of a band. This definately shows in their music, their performances are always amazingly good, and the loyalty of their following is unreal, it's like one big Mother Guru family. I'm so happy to be apart of it

Mother Guru float my boat.

Mother Guru work damn hard and still manage to be amazing and alive with energy in ever show, how they do it I will never know these boys deserve all the respect and admiration they get, they play the phattest shows ever! Almost feel guilty beggin them to come back to Dunners after all their hard work in the last couple of months!! Credit where credit is due definitely keep it phat cuzzles!
