Hey Jerry Seinfeld couldn't act either and the characters of Jerry and George are both based on Larry David's actual personality. I think it's very funny, although I've noticed that some struggle with out the encouragement of canned laughter. Some people simply don't know when to laugh! (I'm not suggesting that of you Stefan) It's pretty out-of-it.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is a delayed reaction laugh show. You don't realise how funny it was till the next day. I had the same thing with the Fast Show.

you cant hate 'get smart' it was one of the best shows ever to be put on TV. Beverly hilbillies was also a classic. that granny is a larff and a 1/2. they even sung this lil tune in primary school to mimic the show.

What Now is a pretty bad show, but hey, I'm not exactly in the target audiences age range, so I leave it alone. But Sticky TV is the most gawd-damn annoying, immature show I've ever seem. Sticky Tv - Creating tomorrow's imbeciles today!

what now was cool when michelle a'court, simon barnett, catherine mcpherson hosted it and what about danny morrisson. and of course before many of youz readers where born Steve Parr, i usd to enjoy watching inspector gadget every saturday mornings which was on what now 20 or so years back.

what are glumps??

those little animated plasticine blobs.
they were totally of the 'golden era' of what now.
probably around the steve parr epoch.

they had episodes like...
"the glumps discover fire"
"the glumps invent the motorcar"
"the glumps learn how to fly"
...which invariably ended up with some of the glumps getting roasted, run over, and splatted (or all three). I loved it.

i adored Frank Flash when i was little. i've still got a few What Now mags collecting mildew somewhere ... i'm really liking the new What Now these days too. their spoofs are damned funny and clever at times ...

The best cartoon What Now ever had was 'Super Ted' and the classic 'Dungeons and Dragons'... Those were cool.

Ha! I remember Danny Watson and his mullet... Frank Flash is the best kid entertainer NZ ever had, and we he went we were stuck with that dick Jason Gunn and 'Thingy'. When Frank left, I left the couch and played outside.

Coolest thing about What Now today is that blondie... She's hot
