big acts with no songs

i saw in the paper that audioslave is coming. it made me wonder what happens when for whatever reason an act gets big enough to do tours after releasing only one album. especially in the case of a band like audioslave who have only recently formed and probably dont have much unreleased material. even if they played their entire album it would be kinda short, but i would think it is unlikely that they would play all of it. and i guess covers of two certain bands are also out of the question. what are they going to do?

surely they must play some covers

Audioslave wrote about 21 songs in the 19 days they were together. If you got the cd and go to the official site and use the cd to unlock the special site you can download some other unreleased non-album tracks.

i could write more than 21 songs in less than 19 days. sometimes, just sometimes, there is a good reason why a band doesnt release every song that they have ever written.

yes ur right ie Shihad.
But the thing is from what Tom Morello said in their whole time in Rage they never accomplished such a feat.

heheh. or they might pull out some real covers.

I recollect a certain concert a few years ago by the Feelers. They played every track on their album, and then had a whole load of really random covers (like Cat Stevens, ACDC riffs). It confused the teeny boppers a lot.

I would like them to play covers. That'd be cool.

Take into acount the fact the members of the band. It does not matter that the band has a short history, its the people wilk, cornell, timmy C and tom... thats why i'd go to see a band like audio slave!

:-)

so you dont care about the music at all?

no... i do like audioslave, but i think the fact that so many of my heros make up the band is reason enough to want to see them play.

thats what happens when i band has lots of money and they already have fame.

didnt linkin park do a world tour on one album?im sure other bands have done this also just cant think at the moment.
