Active bass pickups wanted

I'm updating/upgrading my bass and am looking for some reasonably priced (not $450 that certain unnamed retail outlets charge) J-style active pickups for my bass. if you have a credit card, or access to one, try going direct to a supplier and see if you can get one for cheap, new, with warranty, and hoefully without much of a delievery fee.

honestly, you can get some gear like that, for so much more cheaper- sans amps go for about $700 at the rockshop, but the price is $400 via the net.
