Went to Te Papa, was kinda disappointed by LOTR exhibition, but loved Bush City & it's cave. *snigger*
After Aka & Gina left, JJ & I visted Blink, saw lotsa cool photos on the wall. Cheers for not throwing rocks at us when we randomly turned up ;-)
Generally, I had a very good time, I miss Wellington already. I'll be back one day.

Indeed, the icon kids (Mega, Gina, me, JJ) were looking very stylish in our custom T's. And Aka's non-icon top was also very handy in spotting the crew. Having been hailed by Stefan, squared et. al. at the Purple Onion, we caught up with the rest of the nzm massif at Indigo, and, at one point, there was probably a team of people responsible for in excess of 10000 posts sitting around a table together.

Hey... yeah - I was at the gig on Saturday too - what an absolute cracker. So so good to see such a huge, supportive crowd, and Two Lane... phoo! What can I say? Maybe "take a bow". Great stuff.
I saw you fullas with your nzm t-shirts, and I was gonna come up and say hi - but I'm still really new to this whole thing, so I felt a bit stink.
Like I say, I'm still real new, so I don't know if this is the right place to post something like this - or if its bad etiquette to plug stuff in general - but Batrider (who I play bass for) is playing at Indigo next tuesday. It'll be our first live set really - we played three songs at Bodega late last year - and we were meant to play the last Die DJ Die - but now we should be, fingers crossed, ready to roll. It's pretty scary starting out, but you just gotta do it I guess - so if anyone wants to play independant adjudicator and tell us what sounds good and what sounds shit, we'd love to see you there. I'm pretty sure there's not even a cover charge, and there's cheap drinks I'm told...
In a slightly embarrasing twist (and again not sure if this is place to ask) I'd also be keen to know if there are any drummers out there (in Wellington) who'd be kind enough to lend us their cymbals for the night (and maybe the day before I think). We'll treat 'em real nice, I promise - and I can draw someone a fancy gig poster or something as payment...
