just a few observations i made this week:

1. The irony of free willy, a movie about a whale that is freed, and wants to be free... yet in real life it was in captivity for a long time and prefered the company of people and its tank.

2. Why do people think making a fake hard out doco is a good thing.. i just switched onto prime to see news of a small pox breakout with hundreds dead and dying, i quickly realised this was one of these 'what if' deals. But really, do some people get off on this... i'm far too paranoid to have worst case senario docos thrown in my face.

3. Pacifists a side, it seems that the reason that world leaders (with the exception of Russia) are calling the back the boat up on Iraq this time around is because of oil. Rather ironic, considering everyone claims America is after oil when it is America that has been meeting international leader to ensure them that there stake in oil and industry and infrastructure in Iraq will be protected during and after any war.

I said exception to Russia as they have always had interests in Iraq, so have always apposed conflict, that and old cold war rivals can't seem to let go.
