All rumours point to an album out next march, but that's muso time. Last I heard it was a concept album - the concept being to see how long he can draw out the recording process. He was aiming for ten years.
Only saw the new song on Saturday - awesome song but the video's fucken depressing... actually, before I knew who it was and before the NZOA logo even came up I found myself thinking "why's a kiwi song accompanied by a video shot in London?". So I guess that may indicate that there really is such thing as authentic kiwi pop music, which is nice. I guess it may also indicate that some execs have more money than sense, after all what's Bryan done for us lately, really? Huh? Huh??

He just got a video grant in the October NZ On Air funding, so something should be happening soon... hopefully the album will finally be released
