Just wondering why everyone on here seems to resent Bomber so much. I think he makes a genuine effort to help people out, and presents an 'alternative' view to most current issues, even if it is not always strictly researched, factual, or correct.
I know this thread has been done similarly, but everyone used the opportunity to sling insults rather than give any constructive feedback.

Basically "Bomber" really annoys me. It's quite hard to be constructive about that, and it's nothing personal. I've always had a personal dislike of "Bomber". I suspect his act and delivery are really really irritating to a certain demographic. I believe he's done really well for Channel Z ratings, but ratings don't tell all. He's done so many irritating things over the years so I don't listen at all to Channel Z.
I assume "Bomber" is aimed at a certain demographic because he seems to alienate many people, except for a younger group.
I understand that "Bomber" reads this sort of stuff - maybe he cares, maybe not - but I assume that "Bomber" is an act so therefore he does not take any of this personally. This probably helps the bashing take place in some ways. It's just an act.

I know what you mean. I don't like Bomber's delivery either. He tries to come off as each callers best mate, often using an obviously planted laugh, a cheezy comment, a squeeky compliment, or all of the above.
If anyone gets hostile then they are never given a fair chance either. Bomber is quick to resort to ideas which he seems to repeat a lot, every week.
To be honest though, I don't think that this matters too much. Even if his delivery isn't the best, I think he is still an intelligent guy whose trying to stimulate debate. Its certainly not a reason to take personal offence against him.

Do you mean that he thinks his views are infallible? I think that he is convinced that he is right, and although he pretends to be very open, he isn't. I find that entertaining. It's good to hear people calling up and getting shut down. I remember that girl who he made cry, and it was HILARIOUS.
