i heard faintly the news on the radio at work today, and appearently tony blair has closed down an airport (or maybe more i dunno, not good with news) cause of al queda (if thats how you spell it) threatning to launch missiles at every plane that leaves the ground or something like that?
just another way to cause chaos and give bush another excuse to get the oil. mmmrrrr :/

Well, the have armed guards all over every airport in the UK at the moment as apparently they have information about a possible attempt to bring a plane down, using a rocket launcher missile thing.
They evacuated the north terminal at Gatwick today after they found hand grenades on some bloke. So it is real and something is going to happen/has already tried to happen, and living in the UK, I'm glad the tanks and troops and armed police are there.

What exactly can a whole crap load of tanks do to a couple of people with a SAM? The only way they'll get the people shooting down the plane is by a fluke beforehand or after they see them fire the damn thing, and the tanks will probably kill a whole lot of civilians getting the people who did it anyways.
