It's interesting that even though the interview took place a few months ago, it's still covers some interesting topics that other Datsuns interviews since then haven't looked at (probably because they have to devote much of the article explaining just who the hell the Datsuns are and why they got so big so fast).
There were some good points about NZonAir. Yeah, bands in other countries don't get government funding to make music videos. Should New Zealand bands? Is it better to do what you want and pay your own way, or tweak your sound towards what funding boards like?

Excellent article - makes a change from all this "new sweden" bullshit. The Datsuns set an example everyone should follow not just other NZ muscians.
Dolf strikes me as very clever man as well as a world class entertainer. I'm going to listen to the album now...
