blink: From the track lists and reviews I've read, I don't think the Breeders do any Pixies songs. But they have been known to cover the "Buffy" theme song...
Acidess: They're playing in Auckland at the Regent (St James complex) on February 21, and in Wellington at Indigo bar on the February 22.

Is the track from the "Live in Stockholm" CD that you didn't recognise "Shocker In Gloomtown"? That's a cover of a Guided By Voices song. The Breeder's studio version appears on their "Head To Toe" 7".
The "Safari" EP isn't really alternate "Last Splash" recordings - it just has a different, faster version of "Do You Love Me Now".
