Does anyone know if the band off the new air NZ ad is actually a proper band and/or what the name of the song is that they sing and who wrote the song?

from what i've heard the band off the ad is not real - they were auditioned for the ad but they are musicians and they did record the song themselves - the ad says the band is called "the zephyrs" - a bit of a pistake of the datsuns i guess with the whole old car thing and making it big overseas off their own backs. apparantly some members of the "band" have been in some previously well known bands but i can't remember which - most of this information is plagerised from a nzmusic forum elsewhere where i read about this.
Not a real band... song written by Air New Zealand Writers, advertising cheap flights to America now, so if you wanna start soemthing good, why not go off to the US, it wouldnl;t hurt..... bascilly, yea, thts the basic thing
