Heya, personally I know there are HEAPS of things to do this wknd and waitangi day, but anyone know of anything thatl actually be worthwhile? I can tell u all to go to Browns Bay for the Beach Day Out on Waitangi Day just to see Jessie (cassin) singing, shes on at like, 1.40 :) and err, in the weekend I know there's Howick thingy and also Mission Bay is doing something and my other mate is singing there so should be wikkid! :D Well yeh I knows theres Vibes etc n yeh if anyone has any cool ideas or wat else let us know :)

Once again, I guess it's all personal opinion, but I reckon Day At The Beach in Browns Bay is the place to be!
But on a serious note, I think it totally sux that the promoter of the thing on at the Auckland Domain put his event on the same day as Vibes, when they both target the same audience, but one of them is free. It's not often we get international festivals to NZ (or at least not often enough). When they do come, we shouldn't be creating competition for them!!!!!!

I don't think the thing at the domain offers any real competition. I think people with the money to spend will go to Vibes and those who don't wouldn't have even if there was nothing else on. I think it's cool that people who can't afford Vibes still have some great options.
