my mate and i have been writing songs for our 'band' (we're the only two consistent members)... i guess you'd dub them rock, well his songs for sure, even grunge'sh if you will. The songs i've been writing are still rock i guess, but i can't help writing in a more jazzy style rhythm using blues scales in the bass and lead guitar....
now if we would perform to you... what style would you rather hear?
or is diversity appreciated now? I would figure that people would want to 'rock out' to some noise rock, rather than watch some guys on guitar and bass try and play wank off instrumentals?

'band soulmates', so true, its amazing how you can play with some people and you naturally fall into time and sound better overall... and others, even if really talented, you just don't click... oh well
